SAP users to get Oracle support

With app vendors looking to enhance support revenues, one of Oracle’s latest announcements holds critical relevance for the enterprise. Companies running SAP’s R/3 application software will now get total support from Oracle as well.

This announcement complements SAP’s earlier announcement to support Siebel customers. SAP’s Safe Passage programme offers Siebel customers support at lesser rates.

Companies running its solutions and applications from PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Retek and Siebel have will have better options to choose from.

SAP will offer the solution as a technology partner with a clearly defined blueprint for migration to various service-oriented architectures.

It will be a comprehensive offer that will deliver licence credits for mySAP Customer Relationship Management.
