Intel-ICICI to finance SMBs’ IT

Intel India has announced its collaboration with ICICI Bank to provide easy and affordable financing options for the purchase of IT solutions in small and medium businesses.

ICICI Bank provides financial services to individuals and companies and is focussed on the SMB segment, especially in tier 2 & tier 3 cities. The Intel-ICICI financing option includes hardware (computers, notebooks, servers, printers), software, and connectivity options. Intel says that this is an extension of typical financing schemes that cover only hardware assets. The loans start from Rs 50,000. The offer will cover up to 70 percent of the invoice price for a period of 12 to 36 months.

Intel will employ its 1,750 channel partner network to facilitate loans for SMBs seeking financing, in addition to its advice-install-support IT infrastructure service.
