ICICI in IT expansion mode

The ICICI Bank group has recently embarked on an IT infrastructure and remote client management solution expansion. The initiative worth $1 million will be undertaken by Allied Digital and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2006.

The project includes implementation of software and hardware inventory, end-to-end security, application inventory, remote managing and controlling among others for the bank.

The deployment, which has already begun, will be conducted across all ICICI group companies, including ICICI Lombard, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Securities and ICICI Bank. Allied Digital plans to set up a network operating centre in India with an estimated investment of Rs 6 crore to provide outsourced management services.
