Crisil’s CORE for Clause 49 compliance

Crisil Investment and Risk Management Services, the risk solutions business of Crisil has launched its Corporate Risk Evaluation framework (CORE) solution. This solution comprises software developed in technical collaboration with Microsoft and consulting services.

The CORE solution has been developed on the Microsoft platform leveraging Microsoft.NET technologies. CORE will assist corporates in implementing the directives of Clause 49 as well as putting up an enterprise-wide risk management framework. CORE uses Microsoft Technologies viz. .NET, SQL 2005, VS 2005, MS Office and the Microsoft Compliance Accelerator framework as the main technologies.

Clause 49 makes CEOs and CFOs accountable for putting in place risk management and internal control systems in critical areas of operation.

R Ravimohan, Managing Director & CEO, Crisil elaborates, “It has become mandatory for organisations to create and document comprehensive internal control mechanisms.”
