26/7 and learning

Dear Sir,

This is with reference to the December 2005 issue of Network Magazine which discussed the topics of DR and BC. In this, it was quite interesting to see the collection of experiences titled “Tales from 26/7” which detailed the viewpoints of prominent CIOs on the Mumbai floods.

While disasters can never be completely avoided, it is always necessary to learn from them. It was really great of these CIOs to share the knowledge gained with the rest of the community. I really appreciate this gesture and hope that Network Magazine will continue to cover such events where such learning is shared.
