Informative IM article
The article on Infrastructure Management was very informative and full of wisdom.
It is good to see people like Nitin Paul taking the initiative and writing good
articles. Please keep up the good work.

Help with VSAT info
If you could spare some of your time, will you please let me know more about
VSAT? We would like to know if the VSAT service can cater to all our needs like
data, Internet and voice services. In this connection, I dont know whom
to approach and where they are located.
Thanking you,
Lal Rozuala,
Aizawl, Mizoram
Dear Mr Rozuala,
VSATs ought be able to cater to your needs. However, a
detailed answer will require details on the desired connectivity specifications.
So it will be great if you could send us details on the same.
Nevertheless, with leased line prices falling at the present
rate, we will recommend leased line options due to their higher price-performance
benefits. A VSAT will be ideal if your organisation is at a remote location.
For other locations, a leased line will be a better choice.
You can find further information on VSATs and various VSAT
case studies by searching www.networkmagazineindia.com for the same. A list
of the main Indian connectivity players can be found at this link from our sister
publication, Express Computer. Hope you will find it relevant to your querys
requirements.
The list is at http://www.expresscomputeronline.com/20050523/networking01.shtml
