Toll-free anti-piracy hotline

Business Software Alliance (BSA) and NASSCOM have announced the launch of an anti-piracy hotline in India. The aim of the project is to reduce piracy of software by educating and creating awareness among corporate end-users.

The anti-piracy hotline number, 1600110033, is toll free and any individual reporting underlicencing or illegal use of software may qualify to earn a reward of Rs 5 lakh, subject to terms and conditions. In addition to the hotline, concerned parties can report corporate end-user piracy via the BSA Web site at www.bsa.org/india.
