IT industry and law keepers unite

Nasscom has congratulated the Pune Police Cyber Crime Investigation Department for the speed with which it has successfully unearthed and investigated fraud relating to an unauthorised transfer of funds. The incident highlights the close co-operation between the IT industry, the law enforcement authorities and the legal community.

Nasscom feels that India is fast becoming the outsourcing capital of the world; this kind of incident, though unfortunate, when successfully tackled highlights and reaffirms the existence of an effective framework of laws as well as the will to enforce them.
