The OMNIScanner2 Digital Cable Analyzer certifies and troubleshoots Cat 6/5e and Class D/E links using an extendible digital platform to ensure Level III accuracy. It has a comprehensive cable library grouped by manufacturer to assure accurate length results.

Fluke Networks claim that the analyzer has a project-based user interface, and therefore provides improved field productivity. The device also supports TERA and GG45 cabling systems. In addition to this, the analyzer’s customizable auto tests and limit lines are claimed to provide users with the freedom to meet changing requirements.

Information retrieved from the device can be offloaded using the USB port. The instrument includes the Universal OMNI-LIA101S Permanent Link Adapter. Use of this adapter is claimed to amount to better performance, delivery of more passes and repeatability while eliminating false failures.
