Sniffer Technologies introduces Network Application Performance Management tool

Network Associates, a provider of intrusion prevention solutions, announced that its Sniffer Technologies division is entering the network-based application performance management market with the introduction of Appera Application Manager 1.0 software solution. According to NAI, this new solution assures optimal network availability and performance while reducing business risk for deployment and maintenance of mission critical applications.

Through the introduction of Appera software, Sniffer Technologies now provides both network and applications managers with the ability to help manage the application lifecycle from pre-applications deployment testing all the way through post-application deployment troubleshooting.

Sniffer Technologies solutions are architected for corporations, service providers and governments that want to reduce their technology, business and personal risk associated with network and application performance. Sniffer claims the new solution offers the necessary tools to help improve the availability, performance, and efficiency of applications, as well as the underlying network infrastructure.
