Enterasys partners with Lucent
Enterasys Networks announced a new partnership with Lucent Technologies, comprised
of several new initiatives focussed on delivering Secure Networks and comprehensive
services solutions to enterprise customers worldwide. As a first phase of the
overall partnership, Lucent has joined the Enterasys Secure Networks Certified
Technology Partner Program as its founding member. In addition, the Company
announced that it has expanded its portfolio of Secure Networks solutions with
its Dynamic Intrusion Response Solution.
HugHES FOR managed network services
Hughes Escorts Communications Limited (HECL) wants to evolve into a managed
network service provider. A key part of its strategy is to target the enterprise
networking market, and so the company announced the launch of its advanced Disaster
Recovery services in Bangalore. Hughes also announced the setting up of a 30-city
VPN network for secure, pan-India terrestrial connectivity.
BSA adds new members
The Business Software Alliance (BSA) said it has four new members: SolidWorks
Corporation, Sybase Inc, UGS PLM Solutions, and Veritas Software Corporation.
BSA promotes programs and policies that foster technology innovation, copyright
protection, cyber security, trade and e-commerce.
