NASSCOM launches Speaker Club SME Forum
National Association of Software & Services Companies (NASSCOM), under
the aegis of NASSCOM SME Forum, announced the launch of Speakers Club. The club
will provide an interactive platform for SME's to share best practices and learn
from industry leaders. The club will meet regularly on different topics of interest
to the SME membership. This would be at the broader strategic level as well
as at the operational level, and it will be done through a series of seminars
and presentations for the SME member companies, by leading software and service
companies.
The first such initiative in this direction is an interactive session on 'Marketing
& Growth Strategy for SMEs'. This interactive session will allow SME companies
to brainstorm and create marketing vision for their respective business, either
by collaborating with leading players or creating their own niche market segment.
The seminar will also focus on how a company can build on its USP, and how it
can differentiate itself from competition with its business model.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Kiran Karnik, President, NASSCOM said, "NASSCOM,
through its SME Forum, is keeping this segment on the radar screen and undertaking
initiatives that benefit the sector. Through this seminar, NASSCOM is facilitating
interaction between the SME companies and large players so that learning can
take place through information and experience sharing. Larger companies share
best practices and market strategies to enable SME companies to compete effectively
in the market."
The objectives of the NASSCOM SME Forum are:
- Provide an interactive platform for the SME members in the region
- Share information, best practices and interface with visiting delegations
- Define local issues that impact business
- Mentoring from industry experts
