ESS to offer ERP for Rs 3.5 lakh
Eastern Software Systems (ESS) will offer ebizframe,
an indigenously developed ERP solution, at only Rs 3.5 lakh for Indian SMEs
across industry verticals like auto ancillary, garments, manufacturing, chemicals,
retail, food processing, and light engineering. According to ESS, streamlining
of business processes to increase business efficiency, and greater cost control
are the two important benefits of using ebizframe.
Oracle for mid-sized companies
Oracle India announced the launch of the Oracle E-Business
Suite Special Edition for APAC in India. This pre-configured package of Oracle
E-Business Suite applications is designed specifically for Indian companies
that have a turnover approximately in the range of Rs 25 crore and Rs. 400 crore.
The package comprises key modules of the Oracle E-Business Suite, including
applications for sales order management, inventory, purchasing, CRM, sales and
service, discrete and process manufacturing, financial management, and business
intelligence.
Tyco introduces Intelligent Networking
Tyco Electronics says it has just implemented 'India's
first intelligent networking solution' at WNS Global Services, a BPO firm with
offshore delivery centers in India. The deployment of the solution, called AMPTRAC,
would help WNS Global Services to monitor and manage the growing networking
functionalities at their new site in Mumbai.
